The Palace Tour (8 hrs)

Focusing on the royal palaces of Bali this tour examines how Bali was ruled and kept unique for centuries. Pressured by the Javanese and molded by animism Bali evolved its own unique blend of religious tolerance based on respect. The tour led by descendants of the historic rules of Bali takes advantage of their connections to provide access to parts of the palaces rarely seen by outsiders.

Satria Palace: Known for the Magnificent temple where both the Royals and the local people worship together and other unique buildings, a collection of kris daggers used in the 1906 war against the Dutch army.
